About College

L. P. Shahi College Patna was established in 1980 with the objective of imparting quality education to economically and socially disadvantaged section of society.

L. P. Shahi College is a permanent affiliated unit of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya (Bihar),and HRD of Bihar Govt. Registered under section 2(f) and 12(b) by University Grants Commission.

L. P. Shahi College is widely recognized as a center for excellence for bachelor degree which has become a premier institution recognized globally for its excellence in academics, intellectual solidarity and understanding for its valuable contribution to the society and students.

The College has ambitious students who want to reach their goals. Experienced and learned teachers are strongly encouraged to nurture the students. The highly motivated students in the college are a constant source of pride to the teachers.

At present the college is functioning well under the able guidance of Dr. Sunil Kumar Upadhyay and has acquired the position of one of the premier colleges of Bihar under Patliputra University where at present about more than four thousand students are getting education in different faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce .
